It is 1975, in northern Portugal. A child writes to his parents in Angola to express his sadness about Portugal. 2011, Milan, an old man reflects on lost love. 2012, Paris, a man tells his baby daughter that he will never truly be a father. 1977, a wedding in Leipzig, a bride struggles with a Wagner opera that she can’t get out of her head. This short film blends reality and imagination through archival footage to fictionalize aspects of the lives of four politicians: Pedro Passos Coelho, Nicolas Sarkozy, Silvio Berlusconi, and Angela Merkel.
