Film-concert: Les Vampires, Louis Feuillade (1915)
As part of the cycle ‘Erotic Cinema - Challenging the Limits’, a special cine-concert will take place over three evenings at the Tivoli BBVA, featuring a full screening of Louis Feuillade’s Les Vampires, newly restored and shown in cinemas for the first time, accompanied by live music from Rodrigo Amado Unity.
Les Vampires is a timeless masterpiece, renowned for its distinctive staging, surrealist aesthetic, and, most notably, the captivating presence of Musidora as Irma Vep, cinema’s first ‘vamp’.
Rodrigo Amado Unity consists of Rodrigo Amado on saxophone, Hernâni Faustino on double bass, Rodrigo Pinheiro on piano, and Gabriel Ferrandini on drums.
