Journalist specialised in economical subjects, Nicolau was an associate director of the weekly Expresso and co Presenter of Expresso da Meia-Noite, shown in SIC Notícias (Portuguese TV channel). Nicolau has published two books, Portugal Vale a Pena and Aroma de Pitangas. He is the current president of the Administrative Council of Agência Lusa for the presidential term 2018-2020. On the 30th of January 2006, he was made commander of the order of Infante D. Henrique.
Nicolau Santos will be present in LEFFEST, Sunday the 25th, at 16:00, in Teatro Nacional D. Maria II, for a debate upon the exhibition of the film The Code.
