Eroticism should not be confused with pornography. The entire interplay that arises from its interaction with the boundaries of morality and customs should not be reduced to a censored form of sexuality. In truth, and according to Georges Bataille, erotic sexuality fosters a union between individuals, whether it is sacred, impure, raw, violent, subversive, or shocking – sometimes all at once. It is this philosophy that forms the basis for this evening’s programme, which will feature a screening of the film Antiporno by Sono Sion at 9pm, followed by a drag show with Sylvia Koonz and Crystal Ivy, accompanied by a DJ set from KikoIsHot.
