Exile 8125 is a dance manifesto, in which Adilson explores the Non-Places that have always inhabited his memory. Here, each gesture is a question: where does the natural movement of life end and the exhaustion of resistance begin? What parts of us remain intact—and which are forever transformed—when we are exiled within our own bodies? Between the piano, the pulse of the MPC, and the beat, two sonic territories intersect: classical and urban.

Exile 8125 is more than a performance—it’s a body in demonstration. On stage, Adilson explores the Non-Places that have always inhabited his memory, translating into movement the contractions (popping) of those who dance to avoid disappearing.

Inspired by the African-American sound of Hip Hop, the show emerges as a physical prayer where each gesture is a question: "Where does the natural movement of life end... and the exhaustion of resistance begin?"

Between the classical piano, the pulse of the MPC, and the blowing of the flute, two sonic territories intersect: the intimate and the collective, silence and word. From the friction between worlds, a new language is born, made of rhythm, memory, movement, and transcendence.

Exile 8125
is the journey of a man who, having lived his entire life in Portugal, continues to wait to be recognized as part of it. An exile within his own body, in search of the simplest and most radical right: to exist with dignity.

*After the performance, guest artist Dino D’Santiago joins Adilson for an open conversation with the public about inner exile, identity, and the transformative power of art.
