Singer, Songwriter and Actress

Yasmine Hamdan is a singer, composer, and actress, born in Lebanon, in 1976. She began to get recognition as a member of the duo Soapkills, one of the first independent electronic bands of the middle east, whose legacy made Yasmine an icon of underground music in the Arab world. After moving to Paris, she collaborated with musicians such as CocoRosie, Mirwais, and Marc Collin, from the band Nouvelle Vague.
