Vítor d'Andrade was born in Caldas da Rainha and currently resides in Lisbon. He made his professional debut in 1997. In 2002, he completed a course at the École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris, for which he received a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, and he undertook an internship with the European programme École des Maîtres in 2004. In theatre, he has collaborated with directors such as Luís Miguel Cintra, João Grosso, Maria do Céu Guerra, Martim Pedroso, Ana Ribeiro, Márcia Cardoso, Victor Hugo Pontes, Juvenal Garcês, António Feio, Guilherme Mendonça, João Lourenço, Denis Marleau, Maria Emília Correia, Miguel Loureiro, Ivan Sugahara, and André Murraças, among others. 


In cinema, he has worked with directors António Duarte, Maria de Medeiros, Rita Nunes, Jean Sagols, Margarida Gil, Luís Miguel Correia, and Stéphane Giusti, with particular emphasis on his appearances in Manuel Pureza's Pôr do Sol - O Mistério de São Cajó (2023) and Artur Ribeiro's Terra Nova (2018). He also frequently works in television. He has participated in several staged readings at TNDM II and other theatres, as well as various poetry recitals. In 2008, he was a guest lecturer in Acting (Theatre Degree) at ESAD - Caldas da Rainha and served as a diarist at the École des Maîtres, directed by Enrique Diaz.
