Noël Quidu, born in 1956, is a war reporter and photojournalist. A member of the Gamma agency from 1988 to 2009, Quidu has photographed conflict zones all over the world, including Afghanistan, Lebanon, Iraq, Albania, Palestine, Israel, Rwanda, Ukraine and countless other countries. A multiple award-winner throughout his career, he has received the World Press Photo Award three times. In a tireless quest to capture the truth, Noël Quidu aims to convey the message ‘life is stronger than death’. Inevitably shocking, his work shows us the raw reality of war and its inherent connection to human nature.
