Mariano Llinás was born in 1975 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is is a filmmaker, screenwriter, producer and actor. He was educated at the Universidad del Cine in Argentine, where he currently teaches. Among other short films, became known for his documentary Balnearios (2002) and his first feature film Extraordinary Stories (2008). In 2016, he presented La Flor: Primeira Parte - the first part of what is planned, in 2018, to be an ambitious film project La Flor.
