Graduated in Film Editing, with a master's degree in Film Project Development, specializing in Dramaturgy and Directing, from the Lisbon Theatre and Film School, and currently pursuing a PhD in Arts – Performing and Moving Image Arts, from the University of Lisbon. As a film professional, in the fields of editing and script supervision, she has collaborated with directors such as João Canijo, António da Cunha Telles, José Fonseca e Costa, Tiago Guedes, António Pedro Vasconcelos, and Marco Martins. She has directed short fiction films and documentaries that have been screened at national and international festivals, as well as on television. Her first film, Kilandukilu / Having Fun, received an honourable mention at the Vila do Conde International Short Film Festival. The television documentary Design Behind Bars won the Transfrontera Best Documentary Award at the Extrema'Doc International Festival. Her latest film, Gypsophila, along with other national and international awards, received the Special Jury Prize at the Turin International Film Festival.
