Luhuna Carvalho was born in Lisbon in 1980. He graduated in Film Direction at the Centre d'Estudis Cinematogràfics de Catalunya and in Anthropology at the School of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Nova University of Lisbon, where he also got a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences. He earned his Doctorate’s degree in Modern European Philosophy at the Kingston University in London. He has published two books, Depois da Lei (2022) and Uma Nova Violência (2024), both through the publishing house Língua Morta.
