Director and Screenwriter

Jacques Audiard was born in 30 April 1952 and is a French film director and screenwriter. He is the son of Michel Audiard, also a film director and screenwriter. He has won both the César Award for Best Film and the BAFTA Award for Best Film Not in the English Language twice. His 2012 film Rust and Bone won the BFI London Film Festival Award for Best Film and his 2015 film Dheepan won the Palme d'Or at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival. The latest film written by him is The Sisters Brothers (2018).


Jacques Audiard will be present in LEFFEST, Friday the 16th and Saturday the 17th, in Centro Cultural Olga Cadaval, for the exhibition of his film The Sisters Brothers.
