Camila Lobo

Camila Lobo is a researcher in Philosophy at IFILNOVA (Nova University of Lisbon). She works in various areas, from social epistemology to the philosophy of language, and investigates how our material position shapes what we know about the world, how social transformation is hindered by our emotional investments in dominant forms of social organisation, the ideological functioning of language, as well as its liberating possibilities. In 2023, she was a Visiting Scholar at the New School for Social Research in New York. She is also an activist, working with feminist collectives and movements supporting Palestinian liberation.
