The Cowboy

In the early 1980s, a criminal gang terrorized the Algarve in Portugal, committing over twenty bank robberies. The group was led by a man known as "the Doctor" and Faustino Cavaco, a carpenter nicknamed "The Cowboy." Faustino was captured, sentenced to eighteen years in prison, and later became the mastermind behind the bloodiest prison escape in Portuguese history.
