Takara - The Night I Swam

Snow covered mountains in Japan. Every night, a fisherman makes his way to work at the market in town. Takara, his 6 year old son, is awoken by his departure and finds it impossible to fall back asleep. In the silent household, the young boy draws a picture he then slips into his satchel. Still drowsy on his way to school, he strays off the road and wanders into the snow, going towards the town to give his father the drawing.
