Director Boris Lojkine's new film marks Abou Sangare's first role, for which he was highly praised and awarded Best Performance at the Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes Film Festival. The plot portrays the day-to-day life of Souleymane, an African immigrant who spends his days working as a delivery biker and sleeps every night in homeless shelters. This simple premise would be enough to tell a story that is extremely relevant to our modern world, but Lojkine raises the bar by illustrating the tensions and difficulties underlying the interview that will decide the legalisation of the protagonist's immigration status.
