Sadness and Joy in the Life of Giraffes

Based on Tiago Rodrigues’ play of the same name, the film follows a ten-year-old girl and her suicidal teddy bear, Judy Garland, as they journey across Lisbon in search of the only person who might help her: the Prime Minister. Through a child’s eyes, this fantastical adventure unfolds as an encyclopaedic quest to understand the world.
