This film is the fictionalization of the documentary with the same title (Rachel Boynton, 2006), which analyzes how campaign strategies from the USA are carried out in South American politics. Joaquim de Almeida plays Pedro Gallo, the politician for whom Sandra Bullocks’ “Calamity” Jane Bodine works, to get back at her nemesis, Pat Candy.
