Platoon

Based on Oliver Stone's own war experiences, Platoon marks the first film in the director's trilogy about the Vietnam War. Highly praised and award-winning, the film stands out for its realism in the battle sequences, choosing to evoke an unsettling and constant sense of danger. The plot follows the story of a young recruit who finds himself in the middle of two sergeants with different perspectives on the conflict in which they find themselves, as well as the morality of their actions.
