Aurora is a Portuguese worker in an e-commerce warehouse in Glasgow. Through irregular shifts, her job involves fetching packages from shelves and registering barcodes. Stuck between the confines of the workplace and her shared flat, Aurora dreams of escaping this life of wage slavery and social alienation, seeking meaning in her existence. Marked by the blue and grey tones of industrial spaces, the film’s unwavering gaze reveals how workers’ lives are rendered insignificant by larger economic forces, painting an intimate and vivid portrait of financial and social precariousness.
