The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse, Robert Eggers' second feature, is a gripping and turbulent drama. Set in the 1890s, the story takes place on a desolate island of jagged black rock, where a gnarly old sea dog, played by Willem Dafoe, is tending the lighthouse for four weeks along with his new assistant, played by Robert Pattinson, who becomes progressively more concerned with what's hiding within the lighthouse.
