Maldoror

Paul Chartier, a young and impulsive police officer, is assigned to the secret unit “Maldoror”. Its objective is to investigate a dangerous sex offender, the prime suspect in the disappearance of two girls. The corrupt and dysfunctional legal system, hurt by the rivalry between police agencies who are incapable of communicating, allows the suspect to remain free. Revolted, Chartier decides to ignore the system’s rules and hunt the suspect on his own. A labyrinthic tale that analyses the darkest dimensions of the human soul and the powerlessness of a person before the failure of institutions, in an intense moral conflict.
