Fragile as the World

Vera and João are young and in love, but they are struggling against time. Their desire forces them, in a somewhat childlike manner, to run away from their friends, their home, away from people and the world. Isolated in a forest, they promise to never leave each other’s side. Nothing can tear them apart. But one day, Vera falls ill. João can’t leave her side, but he must go and ask for help. Their unshakable faith in their amorous bond is about to break.
