Ex Machina

Caleb, a programmer at a large technology company, wins a competition for the prize of spending a week in a private retreat with his boss and the company's CEO. However, the purpose of this retreat is not innocent: Caleb becomes a guinea pig whose job is to interact with a newly created robot, Ava, who acts, thinks and feels like a human, and is extraordinarily beautiful. As the days go by, Caleb feels increasingly attached to Ava and begins to question the intentions of the project and its ethical implications.
