Eduardo Luiz – Retrato do Artista Desaparecido

Between 1932 and 1988, we see the life of a man who chose painting as his profession and whose perfectionism led to a scarce body of work. In his voluntary exile, he obstinately pursued a career isolated from contemporary artistic movements and on the fringes of critical opinion. His surviving work is highly contested on the national art market, where it fetches very high prices. Despite this, he remains an almost unknown painter among the public.
