A group of bored and disillusioned French students become entangled in the psychological and sexual games of a mysterious Dutchman named Duchemin. After sampling his “fear powder”, they descend into a series of hallucinations. In Eden and After, Alain Robbe-Grillet conjures up an enigmatic, dreamlike fable steeped in eroticism and an exploration of the limits of perception.
