A faction of a revolutionary military group invades a weapons depot and steals several boxes of grenades. During the escape, their leader, October, is blinded by the explosion of a box, and several soldiers are injured. The leaders of the group send another faction to complete the mission. October’s faction, betrayed by its leaders, begins to disintegrate as its members, paranoid and disillusioned, engage in pleasureless orgies and acts of gratuitous violence. Exploring the tension between individual and collective action, this challenging film employs the imagery of the sex film to convey a radical political message.
