In this edition of LEFFEST, we present three awards that distinguish different aspects of the presented films, such as decided by the Official Jury.
The Grand Prize LEFFEST distinguishes the film, within the Official Selection – In Competition, that the jury considers “the most outstanding for adding some innovation to the cinematographic language”. The Grand Jury Prize João Bénard da Costa distinguishes the boldest artistic approaches in the Official Selection – In Competition, and the Jury Special Prize Best Performance or Script or Cinematography is a special award distinguishing either the Performance or the Script or the Cinematography the Official Jury considers should be singled out for praise.
