Chrysta Bell met David Lynch in 1998, and they’ve worked since then. The song Polish Poem was co-written with Lynch and included in his film Inland Empire (2006). They’ve both worked for years on her album This Train (2011), and also in the EP Somewhere in the Nowhere (2016). Chrysta Bell plays Tammy Preston, a FBI agent in Twin Peaks, The Return (2017).
LEFFEST organizes a special session with the screening of films of Chrysta Bell’s songs selected by herself, followed by a Q&A about her collaboration with David Lynch. Chrysta Bell is a member of the jury of the festival.
Aditionally, her latest music video, 52Hz will have its world premiere at LEFFEST. The video was directed by Joseph Skorman.
