Located on the Avenida 5 de Outubro, the presently called Medeia Nimas Cinema opened to the public at the beginning of 2011 with a renewed and alternative programming.
It originally opened to the public in 1975, and this space has always been considered a pleasant and well-located facility offering viewers an excellent cinematographic offer.
Having never been linked with the commercial side of the film business, the LEFFEST will use this emblematic space to screen the competition section, some of its retrospectives, premieres of the most anticipated movies of the year and several events.
