Located in Benfica, the old neighbourhood cinema, which opened in 1984, was for years an essential place to enjoy culture, showing films just weeks after they opened in the big cinemas. It was closed for 16 years and will reopen its doors in 2023, as part of the "Um Teatro em cada Bairro" project, with a programme especially geared towards cinema.
