This programme presents a clipping of contemporary film production that intends to illustrate the variety of geographies, perspectives and careers of little-known directors to the Portuguese public. This year, the LEFFEST present three authors from three different continents, connected by the singularity of their perspectives.

Martín Rejtman is a writer and director, and one of the “pioneers” of the “new Argentinean cinema”, whose worldwide acknowledgement has been growing.

His films, which include Silvia Prieto (1999), Los guantes mágicos (2003) and Dos disparos (2014), have been well received internationally.
