One of the main goals that sets the Lisbon & Estoril Film Festival apart is its particular interest in joining the world of cinema with other artistic displays. Thus, the Festival tries to assert itself as an exceptional place, where cinema is lived and understood in its capacity for dialogue with painting, photography, music and the visual arts.
CinemArt is a section of the festival devoted to personalities from the arts domain, who have let their fascination with cinema challenge their creativity through a specific language of artistic expression. On this edition, the highlight will be director and writer Alain Fleischer.
