Around 3 dozen actors participated in this edition, including Fanny Ardant, Gérard Depardieu, Gina Gershon, Leonor Silveira, Isabel Abreu, Albano Jerónimo, Maria João Pinho…

Laurie Anderson was once again present at LEFFEST, participating in two special sessions: a conversation with actress Gina Gershon about Artificial Intelligence, and in a tribute to Lou Reed.

We also highlight the concert by Gidon Kremer (in a trio with pianist Giorjis Osokins and cellist Giedre Dirvanauskaite); the film-concert Metropolis, with saxophonist Rodrigo Amado and his trio, and the appearances of Nitin Sawhney, Kyle Eastwood, Branford Marsalis, Keiichiro Shibuya and Selma Uamusse.

The festival was attended by writers Giorgi Gospodinov (International Booker Prize 2023, who launched the book Time Shelter here), Rachel Kushner and John Carlin.

Finally, we highlight the exhibitions Jean-Luc Godard – Éloge de l'image: Le livre d'Image, which will continue until December 2nd, and Street Opera, the first exhibition by photographer and filmmaker Khalik Allah in Portugal and the cycle conversation “Artificial Intelligence and Artistic Creation – Where Are We Going?”, which included the participation of philosophers José Gil and Maria Filomena Molder, writer Rachel Kushner and painter João Queiroz.
