A Portuguese musician, he co-founded Pop Dell'Arte in Lisbon's Campo de Ourique neighborhood in 1984, a band that remains active today. He also founded the record label Ama Romanta in the 1980s, which launched several artistic careers and released some of the most important albums of the 1990s.
