Vasco Nico G. was born in Lisbon in 2001. At 18, he began working in television as an assistant director, and in 2021, driven by his growing interest in writing and directing, he decided to study film. Particularly passionate about the provocative power of humor, he combines the popular and the extravagant, the sentimental and the corrosive in his projects. He seeks to portray the authenticity of human interactions, especially within the family. He enjoys challenging conventions and encouraging critical reflection on life and society. Caio is his first short film.
