Tiago Guedes

Tiago Guedes works in cinema, television and theatre, and has achieved great success with several of his films. His feature films Coisa Ruim (2005) and Entre os Dedos (2008) were both part of the Official Selection of the Turin Film Festival, with the latter winning the Ciputti Award for Best Film. However, it was with The Domain (2019), his most ambitious project to date, that he achieved huge national and international success: the film was part of the Official Selection in Competition at the Venice Film Festival in 2019, it was the Portuguese candidate for Best International Film at the 2020 Oscars, it won numerous national and international awards, and it was part of the official selection of eleven international film festivals. Remains of the Wind (2022) had its world premiere at the Official Selection of the 2022 Cannes Film Festival and was widely acclaimed by audiences and critics alike.
