After graduating from the Faculty of Law of the Nova University of Lisbon, Florinda Sofia Augusto Cruz became Head of the President Support Office at the Sintra Municipal Counci in 2013l. Amongst other positions, she also served as parliamentary adviser to the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party and as assistant with the functions of Head of Office in replacement of the Minister of Justice in the 18th Constitutional Government. Today, Florinda Sofia Augusto Cruz is the President of the Board of Directors of Parques de Sintra-Monte da Lua, S.A. association, which intends to reunite all institutions that protect and value the cultural landscape of Sintra, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995.
