Filmmaker and Screenwriter

Rodrigo Moreno was born in Buenos Aires in 1972. As a director and screenwriter, he is often associated with the “New Argentine Cinema” that emerged in the 1990s. He studied directing at the University of Cinema, Buenos Aires, where he has also lectured since 1996. In 2006, he directed The Minder, his first solo feature film, and in 2011 he released A Mysterious World, which was nominated for the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival. The Delinquents (2023) was selected to compete in the Un Certain Regard section at Cannes, as well as at the New York and Toronto film festivals.
