Pilar Palomero

Born in Zaragoza, Spain, Pilar Palomero graduated in Hispanic Philology at the university of her hometown, later working for several years as a screenwriter and teacher. In 2013, she enrolled in the Master’s program in Directing at the Film Factory in Sarajevo, where she was mentored by Béla Tarr. Her short films have been screened at numerous international festivals. Las Niñas (2020), a film she wrote and directed, is her first feature-length film.
