Marcel Sesplugues (Barcelona, 2002) holds a degree in Directing from ESCAC. He has directed music videos and campaigns for artists such as Julieta, Mushka, Leiti Sene, and Pedro Ladroga, and has collaborated with brands like Nude Project, Fake Gods, and Gallery Sessions. His short films Nmout Alik (2023) and El tren de la bruja (2024) have been selected for several festivals and screened on Filmin. He was also nominated for an Enderrock Award for the music video No m’estima més, one of the most-watched Catalan-language videos of its year. The Nigerian Prince is his third short film as a director.
