Manal Issa is a French Lebanese actress and a rising star in French cinema.
Graduated in Engineering, she was invited at the age of 23 to play the main role of Parisienne by Danielle Arbid, having since then participated in award-winning films such as Nocturama (2016) by Bertrand Bonello and My favourite fabric (2018) by Syrian director Gaya Jiji, nominated for the Un Certain Regard and the Golden Camera Award at the Cannes Film Festival.
Recently, the actress participated in Memory Box (2021), directed by the Lebanese duo Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Joreige, which debuted in the competition at the Berlin Film Festival.
