Lamis Ammar graduated from the Theatre and Acting Department of The Haifa University. The role of Layla in Sand Storm is her first leading role in a feature film. Her previous acting experiences include the short film When We’ve Kissed, by Nayeff Khamud and the plays Cupid’s Arrow, by Sara Sibouni and The Exception and the Rule, by Sinai Peter.
