José Luis Guérin is a Spanish filmmaker who works between fiction and documentary. Among his most notable films are Comboio de Sombras, En construcción (winner of the Goya for Best Documentary), and The Academy of the Muses, awarded at the San Sebastián Festival. At LEFFEST, his latest film, Historias del buen valle (Spain, 2025), which was part of the Official Selection in Competition at the 2025 San Sebastián Festival, will be screened. The director will be present at the festival.
