After graduating from the Lisbon Theatre and Film School, actress Joana Barrios completed a postgraduate degree in Film Criticism and Pop Music and spent a season with choreographer Anna Sánchez, in Barcelona. She then started working with the company Teatro Praga, in 2008, with whom she maintains a collaboration to today. She also writes and shares her views on fashion at TRASHÉDIA.com, is the author and host of ARMÁRIO, a series of documentaries on fashion broadcasted on RTP2, and is the co-author and co-host of Super Swing, on Canal Q. In 2017, Barrios published NHOM NHOM, a cookbook for children.
