Jerzy Skolimowski (Poland) is an actor, screenwriter and director. He won the Golden
Bear in Berlin with Le Depart (1967)
and the Special Jury Prize in Cannes with The
Shout (1978), the Special Jury Prize in Venice twice, with The
Lightship (1985) and Essential
Killing (2010), among many other awards and nominations.
