Gidon Kremer

One of the world's most distinguished violinists, with an award-winning and hugely prestigious career, Gidon Kremer (n. 1947, Riga) has played with the most famous orchestras and conductors of the last half-century, with a wide and varied repertoire covering the whole range of classical and romantic masterpieces for violin. He is also the founder of Kremerata Baltica, an orchestra made up exclusively of young Baltic musicians.
