Violinist, filmmaker and writer

Bruno Monsaingeon is a French musician, filmmaker and writer who has, aside from his career as a violinist, dedicated the last thirty years of his life filming the profiles and performances of some of the biggest musicians of our time: Yehudi Menuhin, Glenn Gould, Sviatoslav Richter, David Oïstrakh, Piotr Anderszewski and Grigory Sokolov, amongst many others. Monsaingeon is also the author of the book Mademoiselle, a report comprising a series of interviews with Nadia Boulanger, composer, maestro and teacher of many of the most important composers and musicians of the 20th Century.
