Director and actor Andrea Renzi (Rome, 1963) began his theatrical activities at fourteen alongside Mario Martone. He is one of the founders of the theatre companies “Falso Movimento” and “Teatri Uniti”, and acted in most of their shows.
In 1984 he won the Narni “Opera Prima” award with the monologue Sangue e Arena. Renzi has also directed several shows. This year, LEFFEST presents the play Giorni Felici, starring Renzi, who is also the play’s director.
Renzi is also the owner of a remarkable cinematographic curriculum, having worked with famed directors such as Paolo Sorrentino, Roberto Benigni, Gabriele Salvatores, Carlo Virzì, Mario Martone and Roberto Andò.
