Alireza Ghasemi (b. 1990) is an Iranian filmmaker born in Tehran. A graduate of the Tehran University of Art and a participant in the 2022 Berlinale Talents, he is known for the award-winning short films Better than Neil Armstrong, Extra Sauce, and Solar Eclipse. His short film Lunch Time was nominated for the Palme d'Or for Short Film at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, and his first feature, In the Land of Brothers, won Best Director at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival and is in competition at this year's LEFFEST.
